Each Rotary Club President is invited to nominate a candidate for District Governor Nominee.  Instructions on the nominating procedure, an Application for Candidate, the Candidate’s Statement; RI Qualifications are sent to each Club President by the Nominating Committee Chairman.  The “Governor Nominee Data” form must be signed by both the candidate and Secretary of the proposing Club and delivered to the Nominating Committee Chairman prior to the nominations deadline.  The candidate may include a resume (maximum of two pages) expanding on:  1) Business and Professional employment, honors/achievements; 2) Community service activities and honors outside of Rotary; and 3) Service as a member of Rotary, both within and beyond the club.  The candidate selected is required to attend training at Rotary Institutes and a Rotary International Assembly.

It is the duty of this committee to select a nominee for Governor two years preceding the year in which the nominee will be trained at the International Assembly and elected at the RI Convention (This will be our District Governor-Nominee Designate and will ensure that the office will be filled for the next three years).

This committee is comprised of six (6) members, three of whom shall be Past District Governors (PDG) and three of whom shall be Past Presidents (PP) of clubs in this district. All shall be appointed for terms of three years.
